I’m on the cusp of full-fledged adulthood, which is probably fitting considering I have a career, a home a loving partner and the sunshine of my life, my toddler son. I’ve travelled internationally since I was 5, which might explain my restless energy to visit new places. I have no problem making myself at home in new locales. This is how I find myself in Walla Walla, Wash., a big leap and change from the life we’d carved for ourselves in Los Angeles. This might be the first time in my life, if someone asked me that dreaded “where do you see yourself in five years” question that I might actually have a thought-out answer rather than a flighty “can’t tell the future” response. I’m a journalist, a wannabe clothes-maker and a mom.
